Georgia Myatt

Georgia Lorraine Myatt 83 of Glasgow died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at her residence. Born in Tompkinsville, KY she was the daughter of the late Dewey & Alta Blythe Head and wife of the late George Kenneth Myatt. Mrs. Myatt was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Monroe County and was retired from T. J. Samson Community Hospital where she had worked in the dietary department. Survivors include 5 sons Jerry K. Myatt & wife Deborah of Alvaton, KY, Jimmy Myatt & wife Loarrine of Glasgow, Julius Myatt & wife Teresa of Glasgow, Davy R. Myatt & wife Teresa of Bowling Green, KY and Garry Myatt & wife Sandra of Glasgow; 3 sisters Eva Bryant & Isa Helen Richardson both of Indianapolis, IN and Cecil Brown of Tompkinsville; 3 brothers Paul Head & Jackie Head both Tompkinsville and J. D. Head of Indianapolis, IN; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded by a son Jeff Myatt, 2 brothers Edward & Tommy Head and a sister Betty Butler. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, June 14, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Harlan's Crossroads Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
