Georgia Young

Georgia Carol 'Patty' Young 60 of Glasgow died Tuesday August 11, 2009 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. The Barren County native was born June 23, 1949 the daughter of the late George Young and Joyce Robertson Martin. She was a former employee of Kentucky Pants Co. and Lifeline and had formerly attended the Brotherhood Freewil Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters Anita Whitlock and husband Jessie of Campbellsville and Melissa Scott and husband Derrick of Burkesville, KY; a son James Arterburn and wife Christine of Bowling Green; twelve grandchildren Tyler Estes, Makayla Cockrill, Kelsey Cockrill, Trinity Estes, Chase Pennington, Morgan Hunter, Autumn Scott, Alyssa Arterburn, Arrington Arterburn, Ava Arterburn, Jessie Joe Whitlock and Creed Scott; one sister Kathy Stahl of Glasgow; 7 brothers Billy Young of Indianapolis, IN, Buddy Young of St. Petersburg, FL, Johnny Young of Glasgow, Wayne Young of Indianapolis, Scotty Dale Young of New Mexico, James Thomas Martin Jr. and Joe David Martin both of Scottsville. A Graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday August 14, 2009 at the Poplar Log Cemetery in Temple Hill. There will be no visitation. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
