Wilma Lyons Dyer 84 of Glasgow died Saturday December 8, 2007 at the Barren County Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Freedom, KY the daughter of the late George Lonnie Lyons and Lottie Jane Sherfey Lyons. Mrs. Dyer was a former employee of the Glasgow Independent Schools, a seamstress and homemaker. She was a long standing member of the Glasgow Baptist Church where she was also a member of the Three L's Sunday School Class. In the early years, she was a Sunday School teacher in the primary department. She is survived by her daughter Bonita D. Elmore and husband Billy; three granddaughters, Gayla Jane and husband Ronnie Seale of Orlando, FL, Elizabeth Jean (Beth) and husband Scott Sheesley of Glasgow and Michelle Lee and husband Joey Inman of Glasgow; two great grandchildren Weston Thomas Inman and Carsen Ann Inman of Glasgow; three brothers Roger Reid Lyons, Richard 'Bubby' Lyons and Harry L. Lyons all of Glasgow and many wonderful nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Wilson Lee Dyer, three sisters Mary E. Bush, Erma Whitehead and Jeanette Clark and three brothers Earl, Russell and Rondal Lyons. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday December 11, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
