Gladys Eugenia Vaughn

Gladys Eugenia Vaughn, age 96, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born in Louisville on September 20, 1924, to the late Harvey Page Vaughan and Toopsie Boston Vaughan. Gladys was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her son, Larry Vaughn (Velisa) of Louisville; daughter, Kim Shields (Brian) of Glasgow; grandchildren, Belinda Gonterman (Patrick), and Terry Sivori (Jill) of Louisville, Natalie Shields, and Allison Shields of Glasgow, and Amber Kaelin (James) of Georgetown, IN; 7 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Hugh Vaughn; one daughter, Joyce Sivori (Bill); twelve brothers and sisters, Mary Frances Vaughan, Ruby Trabue, Jr. Vaughan, Jewell Vaughan, James Vaughan, Morris Vaughan, Jessie Wells, Nova Jo Hensley, Bob Vaughan, Billie Sue Gosling, Robert Vaughan, and Johnny Vaughan; a grandchild, Troy Sivori. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Sunday, May 2nd at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00am until funeral time on Sunday at the funeral home. All those who wish to honor and remember Gladys in person at the visitation must wear a mask or other facial covering and practice social distancing while inside the funeral home for safety of those in attendance.
