Gladys Thompson

Gladys Thompson 72 of Glasgow died Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Gilbert & Minnie Burris Wilson. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and a retired Inspector at Washington Manufacturing Co. formerly in Glasgow. Survivors include her husband Clifton 'Shorty' Thompson, 1 daughter Jackie Sue Garner of Glasgow, 1 granddaughter Cassie Garner of Glasgow and several nieces & nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 2 brothers Guy & Lester Wilson and 4 sisters Mary Frances Anderson, Muriel Parrish, Ella Mae Brown and Lois Moore. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, May 13, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
