Glen Lyon

Glen Lyon, 78 of Nicholasville, KY and formerly of Barren County, died Saturday, June 11, 2016 at his home. He was born in Barren County, the son of the late Walter Glen Lyon and Louise Kirtley Lyon. Glen was a farmer and a former employee of Eaton Axle Co. and the General Motors Corvette Plant in Bowling Green. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and a member of the Cave City Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Barbara Riley Lyon; 1 daughter Karen Lyon Hamilton and husband Gerry of Lexington, KY; 2 sons Richard Glen Lyon, Jr. of Nicholasville and James Kirtley "Kirt" Lyon and wife Gina of Cave City, and two grandchildren William Jacob Hamilton and Hunter Lyon Hamilton. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 14th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4:30pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
