Glen Mcguire

Glen E. McGuire 75 of Glasgow, died Monday night May 22, 2006 at his home. He was born in Etoile, KY the son of the late Joe Chris and Wallace Moore McGuire. He was saved at the age of 17 and was a member of the Caney Fork Baptist Church. For the past 20 years has attended the Bethel Baptist Church. He was a life long farmer in the Temple Hill Community. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elaine Meadows McGuire; a daughter Kaye Sewell Davis and husband Walter of Glasgow; a son Mike McGuire and wife Renee of Glasgow; 3 grandsons Nathan Sewell and wife Stacie, Travis McGuire and wife Devon and Trace McGuire; 1 great granddaughter Lee Anna Bess Jewell; a brother Veachel McGuire of Temple Hill; a sister Christine Miller and husband John of Glasgow; 2 sisters in law Rebie McGuire and Shirley Greer and husband William of Glasgow and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two grandsons, Christopher Chad and Joshua Clay Sewell; a son in law Leon Sewell; two Brothers Mitchell and Ernie Lee McGuire and two Sisters Earline Jones and Irene Simmons. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Thursday May 25, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am on Wednesday.
