Glenda England

Glenda Elise England 71 of Glasgow died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Glasgow, KY she is the daughter of the late Glen Emberton and Odessa Eakle Emberton of Glasgow who survives and wife of the late Ray England. Mrs. England was a former employee of T. J. Samson Community Hospital and a member of the Coral Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her mother she is survived by a daughter Sharon Jessie (David) of Glasgow; 2 sons Jim England (Margaret) of Albany, KY and Clayton England (Lisa) of Glasgow; a step-son Leon England (Carole) of Jacksonville, FL; 2 step-daughters Barbara Weimann (Georg) of Austin, TX and Carolyn Baker of Louisville, KY; 10 grandchildren and 9 step-grandchildren; a brother Mack Emberton (Sue) of Glasgow and 2 sisters Carol Smith (James) and Vessa Hedges both of Glasgow also survive. In addition to her father and husband she was preceded in death by a step-son Donnie England and a step-daughter Wanda Hurley. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, June 3, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Jessie Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:30pm Thursday at the funeral home.
