Glendon Earl Woosley, 79, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, February 13th, 2016 in Louisville. He was born on Friday, August 14th, 1936 in Caneyville, the son of the late Obie and Gertie (Brooks) Woosley. Glendon was a Master Mason for 50 years and a Shriner. He also retired from GE where he worked in the maintenance department. He is survived by his son, Darryl Woosley (Teresa) of West Point; two daughters, Donna Lynch (Jim) of Hohenwald, TN and Edith Karen Brown (Ricky) of Linden, TN; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mabel Hayes of Leitchfield and two brothers, Obie Woosley Jr and Eugene Woosley both of Caneyville. He is preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services will be Thursday, February 18th at 2:00 pm CST at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Buddy Brooks will officiate. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Thursday after 11:00 am CST until time of service.
