Grace Lyons

Grace B. Eddings Lyons 93 of Glasgow passed away at her home on Sunday December 19, 2010. She was born in Monroe County March 23, 1917 a daughter of the late Henry and Pernie Houchens Eddings. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 64 years James Lankford Lyons; one son Larry (Linda) Lyons of Glasgow; one daughter Linda (Paul) Bray of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Erica (Melvin) Vance, Kevin Lyons, Chad (Celena) Bray, April (David) Jackman and Whitney Bray; 7 great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law Margaret Eddings of Glasgow and seveal nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers Aubrey, Richard, Lester and Chester Eddings and three sisters Alma Matthews, Mildred Harrison and Lois Meek. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon Tuesday.
