Grace Smith

Grace Furlong Smith, 90, of Glasgow died Monday, February 2, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Edmonson County the daughter of the late Leslie Furlong & Millie Hawkins Furlong. She was a homemaker, a member and Sunday School Teacher at Old Zion Methodist Church. Survivors include 1 granddaughter Michelle Williamson (Gary) of Glasgow; 3 sisters Annie Settles (Bill), Bessie Lee Gibbons of Glasgow & Barbara Wooten (Thurman) of Park City; 2 brothers Billy Furlong (Pernie) of Three Springs & Donald Furlong (Sue) of Glasgow; sister in law Peggy Furlong of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Albert Marvin Smith and their son Douglas Smith; 4 brothers Jewell, Charles Amos, James & Leroy Furlong; 1 sister Aileen Furlong; sister in law Elizabeth Ann Furlong & brother in law Author Gibbons. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday February 6, 2015 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
