Grover Wyatt

Grover Stanford Wyatt 88 of Glasgow died Friday October 17, 2008 at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Virgil Radford Wyatt and Pearl Mae Wyatt. Mr. Wyatt was a barber for 50 years and owned and operated Wyatt's Barber Shop in Glasgow. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Mr. Wyatt was currently attending and a member of Refuge Church of Christ and was a former Elder for 25 years at the South Green St. and Columbia Ave. Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife of 66 years Audrey Durham Wyatt; a son Danny Wyatt and wife Carolyn of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren Justin G. Wyatt of Madison, TN, Rachel Wyatt and Jane Wyatt of Glasgow; 3 great grandchildren Hannah Emberton, Max Wyatt and Sophia Wyatt and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son David Wyatt and 3 sisters Naomi Wood, Lillian Richey and Ruby Jones. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday October 20, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
