Guelda Jean Houchens

Guelda Jean Houchens, 88, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at the Shanti Niketan Hospice House. She was born July 20, 1933, in Barren County, Kentucky to the late James Tom Houchens and Emma Bacon Houchens. Guelda retired from SKF after 30 years and was an Austin Tracy graduate Class of 1952. Mrs. Houchens was a longtime member at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Survivors include a great niece; and several cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Elwood and Roger B. Houchens and niece, Judith Martin. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Temple Hill Volunteer Fire Department. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Shanti Niketan Hospice House and the staff of NHC for their exceptional care. The funeral service for Mrs. Houchens will be held 1:00 PM Friday, May 27th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
