Gus Greer

Gus Greer 77 of Lexington and formerly of Barren County, where he lived on Kino Rd. for many years. He was the son of the late Tom and Charlottie Kinslow. Mr. Greer was a farmer and work for the Glasgow Livestock Market for 27 years. He was also a member and deacon of Fairview Baptist Church in Monroe County. He is survived by his wife Mayevan Gentry Greer of Lexington; 1 daughter Jenny Stringer and husband Jeffrey of Lexington, 3 grandchildren Aaron Jeffrey Stringer, Gus Grant Stringer and Stephen Donald Stringer. Funeral services will be 4:00pm Sunday March 28, 2004 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral with burial at the Lexington Cemetery in Lexington. Visitation will be after 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Sunday at the Funeral Home. At the request of the family, Memorial Contributions be made in memory of Gus Greer to your local Hospice 0rganization.
