Harold Brown

Harold Denver Brown, age 86 of Leitchfield passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 10, 1927 in Breckinridge County, Kentucky, the son of Albert & Eulah Crithlow Brown. He was an Usher at St. Joseph Catholic Church for many years and owned several businesses. He is survived by his wife, Delphine Tomes Brown of Leitchfield, two daughters, Joyce Mudd & Brenda Ramsey (Dennis) both of Leitchfield, one son, Ken Brown (Jenny) of Louisville, one sister, Janis Brown Marlow of Georgia, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and two special caregivers, Elaine 'Janie' Childress & Deborah Tennison. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday (March 1, 2014) at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield with Father Randy Howard officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 noon - 8:00 p.m., Friday at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home.
