Harold Fisher

Harold Garnett Fisher 74 of the Etoile community of Barren County died Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Barren County Health Care Facility. He was born at Etoile, KY the son of the late Ewell and Verda Lyons Fisher. Harold was a veteran, and served as a missile sight technician in the U.S. Army from 1956-59. He was a former employee of Sorensen Mfg., Belden Wire and Cable, ACK and AMAK. He attended the Caney Fork Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Murley Fisher; 1 brother Roy Fisher of Indianapolis; 2 nieces Carolyn Jefferies (Wayne) of Greenwood, IN and Lou Anne Fairchild (Charles) of Indianapolis; 1 nephew Robert Fisher (Casey) of Smiths Grove and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Earl Lee Fisher and a sister Eloise Barlow. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
