Harold Hiser

Harold Junior Hiser 75 of Glasgow died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Knob Lick, KY he was the son of the late Lee Otis & Lucille Morgan Hiser. Mr. Hiser was a member of the Caney Fork Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 55 years Virginia Cherry Hiser of Glasgow; 3 children Ricky Hiser & wife Trish of Glasgow, Jerry Hiser & wife Diane of Glasgow and Marcella Hiser & her companion Jimmy Compton of Cave City; 4 brothers James Hiser of Roseville, Cecil Hiser & wife Margie of Roseville, Ray Hiser & wife Peggy of Caney Fork and Robert Hiser & wife Brenda of Austin; 2 sisters Brenda Hiser Beck of Glasgow and Patricia Hiser Gentry & husband Jimmy of Etoile; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brothers-in-law Richard McCutcheon and Junior Cherry and a sister-in-law Jeanette Kirby & husband Jerry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Edna McCutcheon and a brother Richard Hiser. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Friday at the funeral home.
