Harold White

Harold G. White, 75 of Glasgow, formerly of Monroe County, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born August 12, 1937, he was the son of the late Burl and Estella Emberton White. Mr. White was a veteran of the United States Army, retired from R. R. Donnelley and was owner-operator of Frames Plus Frame Shop. Harold was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his companion and caregiver, Velva Gentry White; two sons Shannon White and wife Tonya and Shane White and wife Amanda; grandchildren Danielle, Chelsey, Brennan and Mary Brantley White; a sister-in-law Barbara Glenn and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Copas and Mabel Willoughby. Funeral services will be 1pm Saturday, May 11th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with military honors provided by D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will begin at 2pm Friday.
