Rev. Harry Garnett Neagle 96 of Glasgow died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the Barren Co. Health Care Facility. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late Andy Thomas & Nettie Bellamy Neagle. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 73 years Pansy Waller Neagle in December 2010, his canine best friend and guide-dog Chaucer, two brothers Ralph & Clayton Neagle and two sisters Bessie Whittle & Flossie Bryson. Rev. Neagle was ordained as a General Baptist Minister on August 25, 1945 and served the Lord as pastor of several General Baptist Churches in Southern Kentucky and Northern Tennessee until the 80's, when the loss of his eyesight prevented him from continuing full-time ministry. He and his wife owned and operated Neagle's Hitching Post Campground on Barren River Lake in Allen County before moving to Glasgow due to health reasons. Survivors include three children Geneva Strom of Glasgow, Garnett Elwood Neagle & wife Brenda of the Bearwallow community and Rebecca Burke of Hypoluxo, FL; seven grandchildren Lesa Cook, Barry Cook & wife Lisa, Troy Neagle & wife Amy, Jason Neagle & wife Tonya, Zachary Neagle & wife Sally, John Michael Falcone & wife Jessica and James Dustin Mandolfo & wife Deann; nine great grandchildren Krista Lyons & husband Nick, Katlin Spillman & husband Eric, Joshua Myers, Kristofer Myers, Aiden Neagle, Mia Falcone, Presley, Tinsley and Brady Neagle; four great great grandchildren Addison Spillman, Kyler, Ryder and Neko Lyons; a brother Rev. Ernest Neagle of Portland, TN. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
