Hayden Mudd

Hayden Mudd, age 81, of Caneyville, KY passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at his home in Caneyville. He was born on April 23, 1932 in Shrewsbury, KY the son of the late Eithel and Thelma Blair Mudd. He was retired from the County road department also worked on EMS and did lawn mower repair. He was a member of the Caneyville Masonic Lodge. Hayden is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lavern Raymer Mudd; two sons, Steve A. Mudd of Caneyville and Randall Mudd and his wife Diane of Leitchfield; two brothers, Howard Mudd of Louisville, KY and Mack Mudd of Custer; two sisters, Ina Mae Mudd and Louise Smith both of Louisville; four grandchildren, Tommy (Boo Boo), Carolyn and Jeremiah Williams and Nick Ramsey; four great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. State Police Chaplin Davey Norris will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Tuesday July 30, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.Masonic Service will be held Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
