Hazel Smith

Hazel Spann Smith 81 of Haywood died Friday, February 6, 2004 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Barren County she was the daughter of the late Henry T. and Mary Thomas Spann and the wife of the late Bernard Ellis Smith who died Feb. 14, 1989. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include 1 son John Terry Smith and wife Sharon of Haywood, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceeded in death by 2 sisters Pernie Spann Wheeler and Verna Spann Harrison. Funeral services will be held 2PM Sunday, February 8, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5PM Saturday, February 7, 2004 at the funeral home.
