Helen Groce

Helen Marie Groce 78 of Glasgow died Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at the NHC Health Care facility in Glasgow. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late Charles Gobel Houchens & Bessie Arterburn Houchens and wife of the late William Ewell Groce. Mrs. Groce was a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church. She is survived by 3 sons William Earl Groce & wife Mary of Lucas, KY, Billy Joe Groce & wife Gail of Glasgow and Ronnie Groce of Glasgow; 3 daughters Barbara Medley of Glasgow, Brenda Carver & husband Robert of Glasgow and Judy Wilborn & husband Mike of Glasgow; 2 brothers Paul Houchens & Earl Wayne Houchens both of Glasgow; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by 2 brothers Ralph Houchens & Ray Houchens and 2 granddaughters Terri Rae Groce and Kelly Dawn Wilborn. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Friday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Groce Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4pm Thursday a the funeral home
