Helen Morgan Shoopman

Helen Morgan Shoopman, 90, passed away Monday, September 02, 2024, at TJ Samson Community Hospital. She was born on January 02,1934, in Hyden, Kentucky to the late Hugh Morgan and Orlena Begley Morgan. Helen loved spending her time surrounded by her family and playing scratch off tickets.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years Billy T. Shoopman; her children, Jack Brewer and Lisa Gawjarone; grandchildren, Kristene Horne (Justin) and Dustin Brewer (Carrie); great grandchildren, Hunter Ellenberger, Kinley Ellenberger, and Cecily Brewer; sister, Mary Rose Abner; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Herbert Wayne Brewer; and eight siblings.
The funeral services for Helen will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, September 7, 2024, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Buckley Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home.
