Helen Pruitt

Helen Pruitt of Glasgow, died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at her residence. Born in Tompkinsville, KY she was the daughter of the late Marlow and Gertrude Cleary Cloyd. Mrs. Pruitt was retired after 35 years of service as a nurse with the T. J. Samson Community Hospital and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 daughters Terri Bacon of Glasgow and Donna McKee husband Dennis of Horse Cave, KY; 3 grandchildren Anthony Marshall, Lillie Mathews husband Brian and Thor Bacon; 1 great grandchild Dottie Mae Mathews; 2 sisters Hallie Simmons of Glasgow and Arlene Vaughn husband Bub; 1 brother Joe Cloyd wife Penny of Bowling Green. In addition to her parents she was preceded by 2 brothers J. B. Cloyd and Mervin Cloyd. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
