Herbert Reed

Herbert Reed 89 of Park City, died Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was the son of the late John Will Reed and Nettie Mae Knight Reed. Mr. Reed had been a pressman at Handmacher and more recently an employee of the KY State Highway Dept. He was a veteran, serving in the U. S. Navy and was a member and deacon of Rolling Hills Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Hallie Bellamy Reed; 4 sons Dennis Reed (Karen), Danny Reed (Shirley), Donnie Reed and Timmy Reed (Rita); 4 grandchildren Tiffany Wyatt (Joseph), Jeffery Reed (Melanie), Simon Reed (Lia) and Amy Willman; 7 great-grandchildren Hannah, Jarrett and Hailey Wyatt, Riley and Ross Reed and Noah and McCazie Willman; 3 step grandchildren Tiffany Francis, Amy Hoschak and Jeni Vetch; 2 step great-grandchildren Seth and Xander Vetch. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by 14 siblings. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 30th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1pm until 8pm and Wednesday morning until time for the service.
