Herman Cecil Moore 75 of Glasgow died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at his residence. Born in Monroe County he was the son of the late Clifford Moore and Mary Brown Turner. Mr. Moore was a construction worker for Glasgow Paving most of his life and was a avid lover of coon hunting and fishing. He loved his kids and grandkids and was a wonderful friend to all who knew him. He enjoyed going to McDonalds every morning talking with his friends. He is survived by his wife of 45yrs Nancy Jane Moore; a son Wayne Moore (Wife, Sarah) of Glasgow; a daughter Melinda Sanders (Husband, Jeff) of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Selena Moore Bulle, Caitlin Moore, Mikayla Sanders, Logan Sanders and Carlie Sanders; a great grandchild Hunter Moore; 4 sisters Elizabeth Smith of Iowa, Jenny Bailey of Cumberland, KY, Dot Azaveda of Nevada and Ida Lane of Washington; 5 sisters-in-law Judy Abney (Husband, Ralph), Georgia Burnley (Husband, Danny), Elizabeth Likens (Husband, James), Vicky Wilson (Husband, Ricky) and Mary Wilson (Husband, Bryant) all of Glasgow; a brother-in-law Harold Wooten (wife, Mary) of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Bill and Paul Moore, a sister Emma Dean Parks and his mother and father-in-law Martha Jane and George Wooten. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
