Herman Saltsman

Herman R. Saltsman 84 of Glasgow died Saturday, January 04, 2014 at his home. He was born in Grayson County, a son of the late Bill and Flora Harp Saltsman. Herman was a farmer and a member of the Grider Memorial Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He is survived by his wife Betty Polson Saltsman; two children Pam Saltsman of Mt. Juliet, TN and Mike Saltsman and wife Melissa of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren Matthew, Cassidie and Ryne Saltsman; 3 great-grandchildren Kayleigh Vance, Bella and Halle Saltsman; 3 brothers William Saltsman, Jr. and wife Betty of Columbus, IN, Roscoe Saltsman and Hayden Saltsman of Glasgow; 3 sisters Stella Gooden and husband Junior of Bonayr, Dorine Reece of Glasgow and Mona Pierce and husband Windell of Taylorsville, IN and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers Coy, Roy, Sherman and George Saltsman and 3 sisters Callie Jeffries, Linnie Fields and Sylvia Saltsman. Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday, January 7th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4pm Monday.
