Hershel Gray

Hershel Nathaniel Gray 90 of Glasgow died Monday January 2, 2006 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of Willie Elmer Gray and Annie Elizabeth Waller Gray. Mr. Gray was a farmer in the BonAyr community and was an employee of the Citizens Bank in Glasgow for over 30 years. He was a member of the BonAyr Methodist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two wives Allene Dearing Gray and Golden Foster Gray; a sister Alberta Bowles and three brothers Floyd, Roger and Godfrey Gray. Survivors include a sister Thelma Gray of Louisville; a sister in law Lorene Dearing Gray of Park City; Nieces and nephews: Marshall (Lucy) Gray of Austin, Carlos (Shirley) Gray of Louisville, Nelda Steen of Bowling Green, Rita (Larry) Berry of Park City, Philip Gray of Park City, Amy (Joel) Walker of Bowling Green, Bill, Roger and Harold Dearing of Indianapolis, Betty Calvert of Indianapolis, Ruth Root of North Carolina and Mike Dearing of Wayland, KY. Funeral services will be 2:00pm on Wednesday January 4, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the BonAyr Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4pm until 8pm and on Wednesday from 8am until time for services.
