Hershell B. Hack, 64, of Leitchfield passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY. He was born on November 15, 1947 in Grayson County, the son of Roy and Gertrude Hack. He was a retired saw mill operator from the Dunaway Timber Company. He was a the Greenwood United Baptist Church in Louisville. Hershell was the loving owner of his very special dog, Mable. He is survived by his wife Debbie Hack, a daughter, Angela Scott (Tommy) all of Leitchfield, two sons, Chuck Tomes (MyLennia) of Leitchfield and Greg Hack (Heather) of Elizabethtown, five grandchildren, Jared Tomes, Johnny Vaughan, Skyler and Dakota Hack, and Courtney Tomes, three brothers, Roger Hack (Marie) of Morgantown, Clifton and Richard (Elaine) Hack of Caneyville and two sisters, Opal Reynolds and Alma Bratcher (Roger) both of Caneyville. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his 2 brothers Amos and Larry Hack. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2012 at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Wayne Clemons and Bro Jerry Weedman will be officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville after 12:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of service.
