Hester Woosley

Hester Woosley, 86, of Louisville, passed away Monday, August 3rd, 2015 at his residence.He was born on December 13th, 1928 in Grayson County, the son of the late Theodore and Elizabeth (Cummings) Woosley. Hester was a barber for 28 years before he retired. He was a member of the South End Church of Christ in Louisville and also served in the United States Army.Hester is survived by his wife of 62 years, Martella (Lacefield) Woosley of Louisville; one son, Eric Woosley (Holly) of Indiana; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, Gary Woosley and Roger Dale Woosley and a sister, Eva Woosley.Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 5th at 12:00 pm at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Joseph Cooper will be officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery in Butler County.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Wednesday after 10:00 am until time of service.
