Hilda Furlong

Hilda Mae Allen Furlong passed away peacefully Sunday morning at home surrrounded by her husband and daughters. She is survived by her husband Maurice B. and daughters Jackie Hester, Janice (David) Hume and Patty (Don) Kovach. Also surviving are grandchildren: Billy, Bobby, Marty, Mike and Jody Hester and Scott Kovach; great grandchildren: Hunter, Brandon, Brittany, Ashley and Jose Hester, Benjamin Zinski, and Andrea and Jessica McInteer. Surviving brothers and sisters; Bill and Walter Allen, Dorothy Witty and Jean Pursley. Mrs. Furlong was born February 23, 1920 in Barren County and was preceded in death by her parents Audrey and Allie Myers Allen; brother Rodney Allen; son-in-law Marvin Hester and grandchildren Babbie Lynn Hester and Joseph Benjamin Kovach. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday Nov. 21st at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Monday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
