Holmes White

Holmes Frederick White, age 90 of Leitchfield passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield. He was born February 21, 1925 in Leitchfield, Kentucky the son of Clay White and Annie Phillips White. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie White, children, Colleen Wilhite of Bowling Green, Mike White (Sandra) of Caneyville and Vickye Heater (Calvin) of Bowling Green, sister, Maggie Duncan, step children, Ruth Frazier (Mason), Gloria Chapman (Carl), Louis Oglesby (Pam), Cheryl Oglesby, Dale Oglesby, Deborah Oglesby & Margaret Ogelsby, 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Halbert White and sister, Louella Skillman. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield with Bro. Chester Shartzer officiating. Burial will be in the Woodsen Cemetery in Leitchfield. Visitation will be held after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2015 until 8:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
