Horace Dean, Jr.

Horace Dean, Jr. 83 of Glasgow died Monday, April 15, 2013 at the NHC Healthcare Facility. Born in Barren County he was the son of the late John Benjamin & Minnie White Dean and husband of the late Georgia Ann Goad Dean. Mr. Dean was a former employee of T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Survivors include 2 daughters Beth Davis & husband Robert and Patricia Moore & husband Glen both of Glasgow; a son John Dean of Glasgow; two step-children Debbie Smith & husband Danny and Glen Chyle both of Morgantown, KY; 4 grandchildren Cierra Miller of Texas, Todd Dean, Ben Dean and Megan Dean all of Glasgow; a step granddaughter Taylor Moore of Canton, Pennsylvania; two great grandchildren Lexus and Benson Dean; a sister Pansy Runyon of Glasgow; a niece Sharon Thomas of Jeffersonville, IN and two nephews Tommy Runyon of Lexington and Danny Dean of Florida. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a sister Mary Catherine Handy and a brother Dossey Dean. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
