Hubert Britt

Hubert Turner Britt 93 of Glasgow died Friday, December 12, 2008 at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late Andrew Britt and Melinda Jackson Britt. Mr. Britt was a member of the South Fork Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Paxton, IL. Survivors include his wife Lucille Irvin Britt; a son Hubert Dale Britt (Pamela) of Glasgow; a daughter Linda McGuire (Larry) of Champaign, IL; 3 grandchildren Darla Jeffries, Charles Britt and Heather Anderson; 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with military honors provided by DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
