Imo Howard

Imo Gene Bowman Howard 79 of Glasgow died Monday, March 21, 2011 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Josh & Florence (Walker) Peden. Mrs. Howard was co-owner and operator of Bowman's Grocery, and was retired from Sorenson Industries. She was a member of Temple Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include 1 daughter Glenda Mutter (Bruce) of Glasgow; 4 nieces Sandra Simmons, Betty Shelman, Faye Patton and Nikki Norman. In Addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her 1st husband Lovel Bowman and her 2nd husband Bronston Howard; 2 sisters Fannie Smith & Mary Catherine Bartley; 1 brother John Peden. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday March 24, 2011 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
