Imo Tinsley

Imo R. Tinsley 88 of Glasgow, died Sunday August 24, 2008 at NHC Healthcare of Glasgow. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Pearl and Maggie Wisdom Birge. Her husband was the late Amos Tinsley. Mrs. Tinsley was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Richard Tinsley (Rachel Sue) of Glasgow; one daughter Peggy Spear of Glasgow; two grandchildren Danny Tinsley of Glasgow and Steve Tinsley of Hendersonville, TN; three great grandchildren Madeline Tinsley, George Tinsley and Meredith Witherill; a brother Maxie Birge of Tompkinsville and a sister Shelby Jean Rush of Indiana. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Harold Tinsley, a grandson Terry Spear, two brothers Tommy and Nello Birge and a sister June Birge. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday August 27, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
