Inez Jackson

Inez Compton Jackson 93 of Glasgow died Friday April 6, 2007 at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. Inez Jackson was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Lucian Sexton and Florence Stephenson Sexton. She was a retired factory worker at Handmacher and an owner/operator of several local restaurants. Inez was a member of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include one daughter Margie Inez Cross of Glasgow; three sons Haskel Buel Compton(Cheryl) of Sacramento, CA, Hershall Larry Compton of Park City and Harold Kenneth Compton(Sheila) of Glasgow; three sisters Ethel Compton of Glasgow, Shirley Russell of TN and Rebe Heston of TN; 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husbands Hershall Buel Compton and Booker Jackson; two children Charles Henry Compton and Dorothy Louise Hale; one grandson and eight brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday April 9, 2007 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Sunday at the Funeral Home.
