Irene Bishop

Irene Carter Bishop 91 of Bon Ayr died Tuesday June 1, 2004 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Allen County, KY the daughter of the late Wallace and Jonnie Emery Carter and wife of the late Meade H. Bishop. Mrs. Bishop was retired after 25 years with the KY Pants Co. and 17 years with Sorensens Mfg. Co. She was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church where she worked for many years in the nursery. Survived by 1 son Richard Nunn of Bon Ayr; 1 daughter Carol Nunn of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Ricky Nunn, Sandy Nunn, Tim Nunn, Jerry Nunn, Mitzi Bushway and Phillip McGuire II and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 3pm Thursday June 3, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:30am Wednesday at the funeral home.
