J. B. Foster 71 of Glasgow, died Tuesday August 10, 2010, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Buel and Margaret Bridges Foster. J.B. served in the U.S. Navy and was the President of First Federal Savings and Loan Assn. for 20 years. Most recently he was owner and operator of T.C.B.F. Pawn Shop. He was a member of the Allen Lodge #24 F&AM in Glasgow and a member of Columbia Ave. Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Becky Cary Foster; a daughter Kim Hayes of Glasgow; 2 granddaughters Madison Lee Hayes and Becca Rhea Hayes; 2 sisters-in-law Emogene Stephens and Donnie Wyatt (Jerry) both of Glasgow; 4 brothers-in-law James Cary of Glasgow, Hershel Cary (Ann) of Frankfort, Ronnie Cary and Mike Cary both of Glasgow. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins from Glasgow and Scottsville also survive. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, August 13, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville. Visitation will begin at 5:00pm Thursday. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the Columbia Ave. Church of Christ, 315 Columbia Ave., Glasgow, KY 42141.
