Jack Firkin

Jack Daniel Firkin 71 of Glasgow, KY died Friday November 28, 2003 at the T. J. Samson Hospital. He was born in Cumberland County the son of the late Melvin and Lyda Janes Firkin. Mr. Firkin was a farmer and a Baptist. He is survived by his wife Georgia Burris Firkin; 3 sons Gary Firkin and wife Karen of Smiths Grove, Russell Firkin and wife Rhonda of Glasgow, Melvin Firkin and wife Martha of Bardstown; 4 daughters Diane Burnette and husband Marty of Hiseville, Sue Martin of Glasgow, Patricia Faulkner and husband Eddie of Boston, KY and Sheila Centers and husband Jeff of Glasgow; 1 brother Jude Firkin of Glasgow; 24 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. A brother Robert Firkin preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 11am Monday December 1, 2003 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 10am Sunday at the funeral home.
