Jackie B. Browning 55 of Glasgow, died Friday May 4, 2007 at his home after a sudden illness. He was born in Danville, KY the son of the late Ed and Edna Matherley Browning. Mr. Browning was the C.E.O. of Farmers Rural Electric Co-op Corp in Glasgow. He was a Member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Glasgow where he served as a Trustee, Deacon and a Sunday School Teacher. He was very active in community and professional organizations including the Glasgow Kiwanis Club, Barren County Recreation Board, and board member of the American Red Cross Barren Co. Chapter, B.I.T.S., East Kentucky Power Co., KAECC, and was a member of the Professional Engineers Assn. He is survived by his wife Debby Jones Browning; a daughter Erica Nesbitt (Barry) of Glasgow; two sons Jerrod Browning (Wendy) and Justin Browning (Ashley) all of Glasgow; four grandchildren Mason and Jack Nesbitt and Carter and Brooks Browning; a brother Jimmy Browning of Bowling Green; mother-in-law Marie Jones of Glasgow and several nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He was also preceded in death by a sister Barbara Gordon. Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM Monday May 7, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 PM Sunday. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of Memorial Contributions to the Barren County Little League Park, c/o South Central Bank, 208 S. Broadway, Glasgow, KY 42141.
