James Bartlett

James Eugene Bartlett 71 of Glasgow died Thursday November 24, 2005 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Andrew Bartlett and Beulah Matthews Bartlett. Mr. Bartlett was the owner and operator of Pools of Leisure and Glasgow Concrete Forming Co. in Glasgow. He was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church and the Allen Lodge #24 F&AM in Glasgow. Mr. Bartlett was preceded in death by his wife Martha Ann Shirley Bartlett and a brother Rollin Thompson Bartlett. Survivors include a son James Michael Bartlett and wife Stacey of Glasgow; a daughter Teresa Bartlett Harris of Glasgow; his fianc'ee Willa Anderson of Glasgow; grandchildren Jamie Harris, Dusty (Chris) Menser, Krista (Jonathan) Ross, Doug (Tonya) Cain, Chris Anderson, Melissa (Brad) Williams, Morgan Ann Menser, Victoria Cain, Dustin Williams, Whitney Williams and Megan Williams; 2 sisters in law Gayle Bartlett and Sue Rawley both of Glasgow and a brother in law Wayne Shirley of Glasgow. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday November 27, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am on Saturday.
