James Basil

James Benton Basil, age 76, of Park City, died Saturday, December 11, 2021, at TJ Samson Hospital. He was born May 13, 1945, to the late Oris Basil and the late Nellie (Walden) Basil. James was previously employed at RR Donnelley & Sons. James is survived by one brother, Gene Basil (Fanny) of Glasgow; one stepdaughter, Gina Rudd of Indiana. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Majorie Jean (Duffy) Basil three brothers, LeeRoy, Ray, and Troy Basil; five sisters, Margie Houchens, Delores Sexton, Virginia Bunnell, Bertha Matthews, and Pat Bragg. The funeral service for Mr. Basil will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 14th at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday and Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A.F.
