James Broady

James Lawrence Broady 85 of Glasgow, died Thursday December 13, 2007 at the Barren County Health Care Facility in Glasgow. He was born in Barren County the son of the late James Harlie and Nettie Bowles Broady. Mr. Broady was the manager of National Stores in Glasgow for 37 years and was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was a member and a Deacon of the Glasgow Baptist Church. He is survived by his son Gary Broady and wife Gail of Franklin, KY; a granddaughter Beth Broady of Franklin, KY; a brother Levy Broady of Horse Cave; and caregiver Carla Houchens of Glasgow. He was preceded in death by his wife Addie Wilkinson Broady and two sisters Lavada Pedigo and Hazel Emory. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Sunday December 16, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with entombment in the family mausoleum at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and on Sunday from 10:00am until time for the service. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the Glasgow Baptist Church.
