James Button

James Ellis Button 84 of Glasgow, died Sunday night March 4th at his home. He was born in Barren County the son of the late James Alfred 'Jim' Button and Lillian Mayo Button. Mr. Button was a farmer and was retired from Tysons in Glasgow. He was a member of the Caney Fork Baptist Church at Etoile. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Emogene Greer Button; eight children James Howard Button (Mary) of Cave City, Jeanne Lanham (Jim) of Lebanon, TN, Jeanette Vaughn of Glasgow, Janet Wyatt (Riley) of Glasgow, Steve Button of Glasgow, Danny Button (Karen) of Park City, Barry Button of Glasgow and Sherri Sherfey of Glasgow; 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters Velma Burgess, Lorene Payne and Elizabeth Wright and a brother Marshall Button. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday March 7, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm on Tuesday.
