James Christopher Perkins

James Christopher 'Chris' Perkins 42 of Alvaton, KY died Sunday, September 6, 2015 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. Born at Bowling Green, he was the son of Jimmy Perkins and the late Karen Kay (Pedigo) Martin. He was employed by Perkins Service Center in Glasgow as a mechanic and dozer operator. He loved playing his guitar and making music with friends. Chris was a wonderful dad to his daughter Madison and loving husband to Jessie. Survivors include his wife Jessie (Henon) Perkins of Alvaton; daughter Madison Perkins of Alvaton; father Jimmy Perkins (Marcia) of Glasgow; 1 brother Anthony Martin (Jayne) of Bowling Green; 2 sisters Dereka Rigney of Bowling Green and Mitzi Spencer of Cave City; 3 step brothers Aaron Werner of MI, Kevin Werner (Kathy) of Glasgow & Greg Werner (Latia) of AZ; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
