James Clemons

James Gerard 'Jamie' Clemons, age 53 of Clarkson passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in Clarkson. He was born July 22, 1962 in Leitchfield, Kentucky the son of the late William Robert and Imogene Talmadge Grant Clemons. He is survived by two daughters, Leslie Warren (Steve) of Elizabethtown and Brittany Clemons of Peewee Valley, two step-daughters, Brooke Kersey and Lauren Bennett both of Clarkson, Sisters, Sharon Meyers of Louisville, Betty Elmore (Larry) of Leitchfield, Beverly Knoop (Mike) of Louisville, Wanda Horn (Leroy) of Big Clifty, Phyllis Higdon (Pat) of Clarkson and Cynthia Carter of Elizabethtown, Brothers, Billy Clemons (Debbie Jo) of Louisville, Stevie Clemons (Denise) of Clarkson, four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 31, 2015 at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Peonia. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Big Clifty, Visitation will be held after 1:00 p.m. Sunday, and from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 on Monday at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel.
