James Daffron

James Bradley 'Bob' Daffron 76 of Glasgow died Monday June 9, 2008 at the Medical Center of Scottsville. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Jim and Ruth Raines Daffron. He was a self employed truck driver and enjoyed playing pitch. He is survived by his wife Alma; 3 sons Gary Daffron of Edmonton, KY and James and Larry Daffron of Glasgow; 2 daughters Rita Daffron of Glasgow and Wilma Bragg and husband Randall of Glasgow; 4 grandchildren Tabitha Vincent (Wes) of Glasgow, Baily Nunn of Glasgow, Stacy Elmore (Michael) of Austin and Melissa Crumpton (Danny) of Glasgow; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters Beulah Byrd and Dorothy Craig and a brother Raymond Sidwell. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday June 12, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Peers Family Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am on Wednesday.
