James Carl 'Jimmy' Decker 71 of Glasgow died Wednesday, January 13, 2016. He was the son of the late James William and Evelyn Likens Decker. Jimmy was a retired highway equipment operator for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and a lifelong member of Westwood Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Betty Parsley Decker; one daughter Kimberly (Mike) Wylie; one son Mark (Cathy) Decker and three grandsons, Jathan, Chandler and Ashton Decker; four step-grandchildren Porsche, Timothy, Lexus and Mercedes Trulock; four brothers Larry (Cookie), Steve (Wanda), Charles (Lisa) and Danny Decker all of Glasgow; four sisters Carolyn Bishop, Kathy Gulley and Tammy Parrish all of Glasgow and Judy (George) Jackson of Indiana. Several nieces and nephews and two special friends, Buck Chapman and Jeff Harrell also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws Amos and Addie Parsley, one brother Dennis Ray Decker and one nephew Richard Wayne Decker. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 17th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Saturday at the funeral home.
