James Delph, Ii

James R. Delph II 87 of Glasgow died Monday, July 28, 2008 at the Barren Co. Health Care Facility. Born in Indianapolis, IN on April 25, 1921 he was the son of the late Chelsea and Edna Campbell Delph. Mr. Delph was a retired General Foreman for P. R. Mallory in Glasgow for 42 years and a Veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Navy. Survivors include his wife of 66yrs Dorothy A. Guthrie Delph of Glasgow; a son James R. Delph III (Susan) of Glasgow; a grandson Daniel Delph of Glasgow; a sister Martha Jane Siegmund of Indianapolis, IN; several nieces and nephews Donna Kay Siegmund, Shirley Kendrick, Linda Smith, DeDe Conckle, Larry Delph, Leroy Delph and Gene Guthrie all of Indianapolis, IN; sisters-in-law Mrs. William C. Delph and Jackie Breker both of Indianapolis, IN and a brother and sister-in-law Ralph and Helen Guthrie of Acton, IN. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 2 brothers William and Chelsea Delph. Mr. Delph choose cremation and no services are scheduled at this time.
